Technical Support / Artworker

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic person with a positive attitude to join a small team that provides Technical Support and guidance in the use of our Coreprint Web2Print System.

Job Description

  • Liaising directly with customers to establish project requirements
  • Creating and updating templates for online print personalisation (web2print)
  • Providing quotations directly or estimates internally
  • Setup of customers within our web2print platform as per their requirements
  • Providing second line support for customers utilising the template creation tool directly
  • Liaising internally between departments to ensure the smooth running of projects

We are seeking a strong team player with excellent communication skills, logical thinking and the ability to work to deadlines, even under pressure.

The role will require them to be customer-focused and work with initiative, to go “above and beyond” in order to deliver excellent customer service to our clients. Having great attention to detail, whilst being methodical in their approach will be essential in achieving this.

Experience of an art-working and/or design background would be a distinct advantage, combined with a good understanding of the print industry.  The role will include utilising packages such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop, plus our own proprietary software.

Technical training will be provided, as well as the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship through the BPIF.

The candidate should have the ability to learn new systems quickly and be able to display good IT skills, particularly internet related, including an understanding of browsers and basic HTML.
