Vpress Selected As Carly Press Web2Print Partner

As a part of their planned expansion, Somerset based printer Carly Press recently made a significant investment into Vpress’ Coreprint range of solutions. This is to support the year on year growth that they have seen recently as they become one of the South West’s profitable and fastest growing printers.

In the following months, they have already seen a positive impact upon their business with a number of customers having taken them up on their offer for an online ordering platform and Web2Print capabilities.

Managing Director Mark Gladstone-Smith says, “We had looked at several other options in the marketplace and felt that Coreprint was the best platform for growth. It seemed like a solid system which we could cut our teeth with in Web2Print, but then we also felt there was a clear progression path with the product. We did not want to buy a solution from a company who had designed their platform with a ‘one size fits all’ mentality. It was a big decision/investment for us which we knew would not be an overnight project. It would take time to implement and get clients ordering through their custom portals but so far it’s had a great uptake”.

Gladstone-Smith goes on to say that of the clients that have taken up the opportunity to use Web2Print for their print ordering have grabbed the opportunity with both hands as they recognise the value in being able to order and report from a centralised place.

It is not just adding value to their proposition for existing customers either, including Web2Print in their new business sales too. It has been reported to have received great interest from potential customers as they consider value beyond price.

Vpress Sales Director, Kelvin Bell says, “Carly Press is a prime example of a printer who has not yet made the transition to online but needs to both for the now and future growth of the business. We were in a long dialogue with Carly Press and I knew we could make a difference with Mark’ company as they have a willingness to grow their business. Many technology providers sell their “softwares” and leave only coming back to secure their yearly license fee, that is not how it works with Vpress. We have to support our customers in an ongoing proactive way and already we have open days and events planned to put Carly Press on the map – this is a true partnership, one that we are committed to make work for Carly Press now that they have joined the thousands already transforming their business with Web2Print”.
